The UFC Featherweight Championship will headline the card, though the UFC hasn't yet determined who will challenge Jose Aldo at the event.
That wasn't the only announcement the UFC made during the press conference, however, as the next two events in Canada were revealed as well. The organization will return to Toronto for the third time in 18 months when they head to the city on September 22. Additionally, they will make their return to Montreal on November 17.
But that wasn't all. White revealed that the organization will not only be running in these three cities this year, but for the next two years as well.
Penick's Analysis: The UFC had Mark Hominick in Toronto via satellite to announce the Toronto date, and Georges St-Pierre in Los Angeles to announce the return to his home city. With St-Pierre's return targeted for November, expect him to headline that card against Carlos Condit. Outside of that, there isn't much else to be said about these cards because they're still quite far away, but Canadian fans should be excited by the commitment the UFC is making to bring big events to the country.
