There have been very few definitive updates on the recovery process of UFC Welterweight Georges St-Pierre since his knee surgery earlier this year, but everything seems to be progressing as planned. Indeed, UFC President Dana White on Thursday said that St-Pierre is still on track to fight at UFC 154 in Montreal this November.

"Barring complications [he'll be on the card]," White said after the UFC 149 pre-fight press conference (transcribed by MMAJunkie.com). "He's training, and as far as I know, everything is good. I haven't heard anything negative out of that camp at all. It's all positive."

The UFC 154 card is headed to the Bell Centre in Montreal on November 17, with St-Pierre expected to face Interim Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit. A No. 1 contender fight in the division, between Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann, is also expected to take place on that card.

Penick's Analysis: There's not much to add here, outside of hopeful thoughts on St-Pierre's recovery. He's been rehabbing for some time, and was expecting to get back to training this month as well. As he continues to work through any issues and get back into fighting shape, things could come up to set him back, but all signs have been pointing to his November return staying intact, and that's a good thing.
